A division of CCSAR special teams is Flat Ice Rescue. Certified Flat Ice Rescue members respond to incidents where an individual(s) have, or are suspected to have, fallen through on ice covered lakes or slow moving rivers with ice. Specialized equipment is utilized including; warm dry suits, ropes rescue equipment, floatation devices and more.
